Questions about the Shopify integration

Is the Shopify integration available?

The integration is currently available in beta. It connects through OAuth and syncs products, customers, orders, and abandoned checkouts, with a smaller install base than Hamla’s stable integrations.

What Shopify data can Hamla read?

Hamla reads products, customers, orders, and abandoned checkouts, and uses order history to understand customer value and repeat purchases. It does not request write access to this data.

Can Hamla change products, orders, prices, or discounts?

No. The Shopify integration is read-only and does not edit products, orders, prices, discounts, or Shopify Markets settings.

How do storefront popups and push notifications work?

After connecting the store, Hamla opens the theme editor at the Hamla App Embed. Enable it once to run onsite experiences. Browser push is only sent after the visitor opts in.
