Channels

Every channel your customers actually use.

One campaign can span all of them. Hamla picks the channel per step — and per contact, based on what that person actually opens.

A channel is not a strategy on its own — an abandoned cart recovered by WhatsApp, a delivery update by SMS, and a monthly newsletter by email are three different jobs. These pages cover what each channel is genuinely good at, what it costs, what consent it needs, and where it fails. All six work in Arabic and English, right-to-left included.

Questions about channels.

Which channel should I start with?

In Arabic-speaking markets, WhatsApp for anything that needs to be read and email for anything that needs length. Add on-site popups and notifications early too — they're the only channels that reach a visitor you can't yet identify.

Can one campaign use several channels at once?

Yes — each step picks its own channel, so a cart-recovery sequence can open on WhatsApp, follow up by email, and finish on SMS. Hamla can also pick per contact based on what that person engages with.

How do you stop a customer getting the same thing on every channel?

Frequency caps and a fatigue check run per contact, not per channel or per campaign. Once someone has heard from you, the remaining channels stay quiet rather than repeating the message.
